  • Duration and Frequency: The water journey takes approximately 15 minutes one way, with 16 trips scheduled daily between the two destinations. Each trip operates at intervals of 90 minutes.
  • Vessel Details: Operated by Suvarnadurg Shipping and Marine Services Pvt Ltd, the vessel ‘Janhvi’ has a capacity of accommodating 100 passengers and 33 vehicles per journey.
  • Inauguration and Operational Status: Inaugurated by Shiv Sena MP Rajan Vichare, the service is currently operational on a pilot basis. Formal inauguration is pending pending thorough testing and investigation of the sailing route. The inauguration, graced by the presence of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) MP from Thane, Rajan Vichare, drew eager crowds to both jetties, eager to partake in the maiden voyage and relish the scenic vistas of the Arabian Sea.
